Guest GuideDocs

Multiple Properties

Guest Guide supports managing multiple properties from a single account. Each property has its own guide, links, share sessions, and amenities — all accessible from one dashboard.

The Dashboard

When you log in, you land on the Dashboard (titled "Your Properties"). It shows all your properties in a responsive grid — one column on mobile, two on tablet, and three on desktop.

If you have no properties, you're automatically redirected to the creation wizard.

Property Cards

Each property appears as a card showing:

  • Cover image (or a gradient placeholder if none was uploaded)
  • "DRAFT" badge in the top left if the guide hasn't been published yet
  • Property title and address overlaid on the image

Card Actions

On hover, three icon buttons appear in the top right corner of the image:

  • Edit (pencil icon) — opens the guide editor
  • Publish (rocket icon) — publishes a draft guide directly from the dashboard. Only shown for draft guides.
  • Delete (trash icon) — opens a delete confirmation dialog

At the bottom of each card:

  • Share with Guests button — opens the share session modal for that property
  • Preview (eye icon) — opens the published guide in a new tab

Creating a New Property

Click the Create New Property button in the top right of the dashboard header. This takes you to the 6-step creation wizard. After saving or publishing, you're returned to the dashboard where the new property appears.

Deleting a Property

Click the trash icon on a property card. A confirmation dialog appears:

Delete "[Property Name]"? This will permanently delete your guide and all associated data: amenities, arrival instructions, share sessions, and images. This action cannot be undone. Type delete-my-guide to confirm.

You must type the exact phrase delete-my-guide before the Delete permanently button becomes active. This safeguard prevents accidental deletion.

On the Links & Sharing page, when you have more than one property, a sidebar appears on the left listing all your properties. Click a property to view its links, sessions, and amenity codes.

Each property entry in the sidebar shows the property name, address, and amenity count (e.g. "123 Main St • 5 amenities" below the property title).

Guide Limits

There is a per-account limit on the number of published guides. If you try to publish a guide that would exceed your limit, you'll see: "You exceeded your publish limit. Please contact support."

There is also a per-account limit on the total number of amenities across all properties. This limit is shared — adding amenities to one property counts toward the total for all properties.
