Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Guest Guide ("the Service") is a web application that enables property hosts to create, manage, and share digital guest guides for their rental properties. You can add arrival instructions, WiFi details, amenity information, and other content to help guests during their stay. Guides may be shared via QR codes, time-limited share links, or public links. Time-limited links allow guests to view a guide only during a window you set; when a guest taps "I'm in," we send you an email notification that they have arrived. A demo version of the Service is available for trying the experience without creating an account. The Service is operated by [YOUR_NAME_OR_OPERATING_NAME] ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

To use certain features, you must create an account. You may register using email and password, a magic link sent to your email, or by signing in with Google. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password (if you use one) and for all activities that occur under your account. 4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

  • Share property guides or time-limited share links containing sensitive information (e.g., WiFi passwords, door codes) with anyone other than your intended guests.
  • Distribute share links publicly (e.g., on social media or public websites) in a way that exposes sensitive guest information to unintended recipients.
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.

You are solely responsible for the content you add to your guides. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content. You warrant that you have the right to use any content you upload (including images and text) and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content. You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to Guest Guide (e.g., property details, images, text). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.

Our IP. The Service, including its software, design, branding, logos, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) 100 EUR.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Indemnification

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., by email or a notice in the Service). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
